On Wednesday, May 21st, SGSNY Patron, President’s Circle, and Lifetime members gathered for a Bubbles of Britain wine tasting at the home of former SGSNY Board Director Hannah Gräfin von Waldersee.

On Tuesday, May 20th, St. George’s Society of New York welcomed 17 Brooklyn-based senior beneficiaries for a relaxing and joyful afternoon at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

SGSNY welcomed 45 current scholars, alumni, and Mountbatten Program participants to this year’s Career Development Workshop at New York Life’s incredible 1 World Trade Center offices.

The St. George’s Society of New York is excited to announce that our annual Scholarship Reception on February 11, 2025, was a tremendous success. We were thrilled to host current SGSNY scholars, alumni, members, and program supporters for a memorable evening of networking and socializing.

We’re so pleased to have held the first (of hopefully many) virtual fireside chats  hosted by SGSNY’s Second VP Mark Aiston with British Historian and Author Adrian Tinniswood to discuss his book The Power and the Glory: Life in the English Country House Before the Great War.

On Saturday, December 7th, St. George's Society of New York hosted a festive and heartwarming event for 19 of our Manhattan-based senior beneficiaries at St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue. The day was an opportunity for us all to come together, filled with generosity, community spirit, and holiday cheer.

We were thrilled to host an event alongside our new partner, That Suits You, for our 2024 male Scholars! That Suits You is an organization that helps young people with little to no income  overcome the challenge of securing professional attire as graduation approaches and they begin the job application and interview process.

This fall,  we hosted our annual Scholarship Orientation at the Information Lab for our 2024-25 cohort of Scholars. We were thrilled to welcome a fantastic turnout of 22 Scholars.
