Honoring Alastair Borthwick at the 2026 British Ball

We are pleased to announce that Alastair Borthwick will receive the 2026 Medal of Honor at the 2026 British Ball on April 29, 2026.

Alastair Borthwick is the Chief Financial Officer of Bank of America and a member of the company’s executive management team.

Prior to his current position, he was President of Global Commercial Banking, from 2012-2021. Borthwick also served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Capital Markets, as well as Head of Global Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets. Borthwick joined Bank of America in 2005 after 12 years at Goldman Sachs.

Borthwick is the Chair of the Board of Directors of BritishAmerican Business. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Posse Foundation. Borthwick holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and graduated from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where he majored in economics and statistics. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for Tuck.
