Run 5k with SGSNY

September 14, 2026. Gathering from 5:00 pm, race starting at 6:30 pm.

Join Team SGSNY to run in the Corporate Fun Run's Manhattan Midtown 5K, running, jogging, or walking along the beautiful Hudson River Park.

Morningside Park Cleanup

October 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

SGSNY members are invited to join us for a morning of volunteering at Morningside Park!

Thanksgiving Pie Drive

November 21, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Saint Thomas Church.

SGSNY members are invited to join us handing out thanksgiving pies and breakfast to residents of our city who are in need. You can contribute either your time, a pie or both!

Join fellow SGSNY members on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays to help distribute pantry bags to over 800 families each week. Volunteers assist with check-in or packing groceries including fresh produce, protein, and staples for neighbors in need.

Shifts are active and team-based. Volunteers should be able to lift 5–10 pounds and stand for about 90 minutes.
