Festive Holiday Tea Brings Together St. George’s Society Beneficiaries
Christmas Tree decorations at St. Thomas Church
On December 6, 2025, the St. George’s Society team gathered once again at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue to welcome our Beneficiaries for the annual Holiday Tea. It was a warm and festive afternoon that brought the SGSNY community together with 17 of our senior Beneficiaries.
As attendees arrived, we gathered in the hall where Reverend Alison Turner opened the event with a prayer and blessing. We then enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea which was generously donated by St. Thomas Church.

The festivities got fully underway with a special performance by the student choir from Nord Anglia International School of New York (NAISNY). They performed a fantastic medley of classic Christmas songs before leading everyone in a cheerful sing-along of three carols, closing in true holiday spirit with Jingle Bells.
We are grateful to Principal Jimmy Frawley and music teacher Izzy Williams for coordinating the choir. A special thank you to Izzy as well for her excellent piano accompaniment throughout the tea and for leading the choir’s performances.
To wrap up the afternoon, the NAISNY students helped to distribute Christmas gifts to our Beneficiaries. Everyone was thrilled to receive the hamper of sweet treats and Christmas cards, handwritten by the children of NAISNY and British International School of New York (BIS-NY).
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Saint Thomas Church, the NAISNY choir and their parents, as well as all of our dedicated committee members, staff, and volunteers who made this celebration possible. We wish you all a joyful holiday season!
