Steve Wilson’s 39.3-Mile Journey for St. George’s Society

This spring, Steve Wilson laced up his running shoes to give back to St. George’s Society.
In an incredible show of dedication, Steve ran three half-marathons across two countries to raise funds for SGSNY’s three charitable program to support individuals and families in need for over 255 years.
His running journey began in the UK on April 6th with the London Landmarks Half Marathon, a one-of-a-kind race that takes runners through the heart of London on closed roads. From there, he crossed the Atlantic to take on the Nashville Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon, known for its vibrant music and high energy. Finally, he brought it home with the Soul Ryeders Half Marathon in Rye, NY on May 18th.
In total, Steve conquered 39.3 miles, all in support of SGSNY’s impactful programs:
Housing and support for over 100 senior citizens, helping them live independently
Scholarships for 30 City University of New York (CUNY) students each year
Lifesaving pediatric cancer treatment access for UK families in New York.
With each mile, Steve raised funds which will help us continue our life-changing work.
