Welcoming Our 2025–26 Scholars

SGSNY Scholars 2025

This fall, we hosted our annual Scholarship Orientation at Nomadworks Times Square for our 2025–26 cohort of Scholars. We were delighted to welcome a vibrant group of 25 Scholars representing ten Commonwealth countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Nigeria, Ghana, Saint Lucia, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, India, and Guyana.

Our 2025–26 cohort includes 14 women and 11 men pursuing studies across fields such as Computer Science and Engineering, Nursing and Health Services, Business and Management, Social Sciences, and the Arts. This diversity reflects the breadth of talent and ambition within the St. George’s community.

The evening was filled with energy, connection, and anticipation for the year ahead. Scholars learned about the opportunities available to them through the program, met fellow recipients, and heard from St. George’s staff about upcoming events and resources to support their academic and professional journeys. They also heard from one of our partners, CareerSpring, who shared information about the career opportunities and support available to them as they prepare for life after graduation.

One of the highlights of the evening was our professional headshot session, giving each Scholar a polished photo to use in their job and graduate school.

We look forward to seeing how this year’s Scholars make the most of their experience and continue to embody the spirit of excellence, service, and connection that defines the St. George’s Society of New York.

Here’s to another inspiring year ahead!
