A Memorable Night at the 2025 British Bash, honoring Ben cohen mbe!

On Thursday, December 4, more than 300 friends and supporters gathered at the Edison Ballroom for the 2025 British Bash, St. George’s Society of New York’s annual celebration of British culture and one of our most important fundraising events of the year. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised an incredible $190,000 in support of our work.

Guests enjoyed an evening of live music, dancing, and a lively charity auction, bringing together both longtime friends and new supporters to raise funds for SGSNY’s charitable programs.

We were especially proud to honor our 2025 British Bash honoree, Ben Cohen MBE. A former England rugby international and member of the 2003 Rugby World Cup–winning team, Ben is as inspiring off the field as he was on it, continuing to champion equality, inclusion, and anti-bullying. Ben’s remarks were a highlight of the evening, and his story resonated deeply with those in the room.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make the 2025 British Bash a sold-out success. Thank you for being part of such a special night. We look forward to welcoming you back next year and ending the night with another iconic “Wonderwall” singalong!
