Pedaling for Purpose: SGSNY at the 2026 TD Five Boro Bike Tour!
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, St. George’s Society of New York made its debut as an official charity partner in the iconic TD Five Boro Bike Tour. Our inaugural team joined 32,000 cyclists to ride 40 miles of car-free streets across New York City; all in support of our mission.
Impact by the Numbers
Our riders took to the streets with a shared goal: raising funds for SGSNY’s Scholarship Program, Beneficiary Program, and the Weatherstone Families Support Fund.
Total Raised: $24,535 and counting!
Top Fundraiser: Mary McNiff, who raised an incredible $10,200, earning her two tickets to the SGSNY Fall Mixer. A huge thank you to the McNiff Owles family for your generous contribution.
Leading Riders: Outstanding efforts from SGSNY President Mark Aiston, Tom Perkin with his corporate matching gift from Talisman, and Julie Rosenberg helped propel us toward our goal.
SGSNY’s own Philip Robertson even gave us a proper shout-out on CBS News!
A VIP Ride
Representing SGSNY in custom cycling jerseys, our team enjoyed a premier experience, including a first-wave start, breakfast at the Chambers Street entrance, and a celebratory lunch in the charity enclosure at the Staten Island Finish Festival.
Thank You!
We are incredibly proud of our 2026 team for their physical endurance and philanthropic spirit. Thank you to all our riders for reaching out to their networks to support our programs. Their hard work ensures we can continue providing critical aid to college students, vulnerable seniors, and families facing pediatric cancer.
Still want to help? It’s not too late to support our team’s efforts. Donate here to help us reach our final $25,000 goal.
See you on the road in 2027!
