We are delighted to welcome BP America and Coller Capital as our first Pathways Partners following the launch of the program earlier this year. Thanks to their commitment, five students were selected from our 2019/20 class of scholars to receive scholarships through the program. BP America’s area of focus for their Pathways scholarships was STEM, and we caught up with the recipients to learn more about their journey and goals for the future.

Thanks to the generosity of our Pathways Partners and this year's Fund-A-Scholar donors, the Society awarded 44 scholarships to final-year students at Lehman and Hunter Colleges for the 2019/20 academic year. These students along with scholar alumni will have the opportunity to participate in our mentoring and professional development initiatives in the fall.

In a continued effort to enhance the quality of life for our senior beneficiaries, St. George’s Society introduced a new initiative earlier this year: Silver Buddies, a pen pal program with students at the British International School of New York.

We are excited to announce the launch of a new system that gives supporters easy access to your own personal profile through an online account portal allowing you to view your donation history, update your contact information, and more.

Just before of Reuben’s third birthday, his family’s world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma. While he is now cancer-free, Reuben’s family traveled to NYC for clinical trials to keep it away. St. George's Society was there to make sure that the big city felt a little more like home.

St. George’s Society of New York in partnership with the UK’s Department for International Trade has announced that Gareth Jones will receive the 2018 British Leadership Award at the eighth annual British Bash at Edison Ballroom in New York City on Thursday 29th November 2018.

We are delighted to announce that MLS legend Bradley Wright-Philips will receive the Anglo-American Cultural Award at this year’s British Bash.

St. George's Society and The Mountbatten Program have worked together since 2001. In that time, we have served as a host organization for over 15 Mountbatten Trainees, giving international young professionals the chance to gain full-time professional experience, study and live in New York City.

Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday is a chance to remember not just those who fought, but what they fought for. This year will mark Armistice Day’s 100th anniversary and there will several events throughout New York City to commemorate this special day.
