Volunteer with SGSNY in Central Park!

We’re kicking off the King’s Birthday early with a morning of volunteering in Central Park!

Join us from 10:00 to 11:30 before our King’s Birthday picnic begins to support the Central Park Conservancy team by keeping the park a welcoming space for both visitors and wildlife!

Volunteers will help with hardscape maintenance and litter abatement, such as raking leaves, clearing soil under benches, removing litter, and helping uncover covered cobblestone, all while connecting with like-minded SGSNY members and other park volunteers. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and sunscreen; the Central Park Conservancy team will provide tools and gardening equipment!

We’ll then connect with the wider SGSNY community at the annual King's Birthday Picnic, which will be taking place in the park from midday at Hecksher Playground lawns near Columbus Circle.
