In Memoriam: Celebrating the Life of June Briggs

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of June Briggs, a longtime member and dedicated supporter of St. George’s Society of New York.

June was a true pillar of our community. Over many years, she poured her time and passion into the Society, most notably as a devoted member of the British Ball committee. She took immense pride in the "behind-the-scenes" efforts that made our signature events successful, always driven by a desire to support our charitable mission.

Her impact also extended to the SGSNY Scholarship Committee, where she found great inspiration in the talent and ambition of the students we serve. June’s warmth, commitment, and advocacy for our scholars will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
