Lady Judge was a pioneer in the male-dominated business community across the US, Europe and Asia. She broke barriers in a variety of industries—serving as the youngest Commissioner of the US Securities & Exchange Commission, the first female Chair of Britain's Atomic Energy Agency, the first female director at Rupert Murdoch’s News International, and the first woman to chair the prestigious Institute of Directors.

She was active with a number of educational institutions including the Judge Business School at Cambridge University founded with her late husband, Sir Paul Judge.

In 2010, she was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in acknowledgment of her roles in finance and nuclear power.

As a member of St. George's Society's Advisory Council, she provided valued guidance on its growth, and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sincerely,
