Announcing New Partnership with Solving Kids' Cancer

This year, St. George’s Society will launch a partnership with Solving Kids’ Cancer, a UK charity that supports children and families affected by neuroblastoma, an extremely aggressive form of pediatric cancer.

There are around 100 new cases of neuroblastoma each year and most children diagnosed are under the age of five. Although rare compared with other childhood cancers, neuroblastoma has a significantly low survival rate and treatment paths for the most serious cases are limited. Solving Kids’ Cancer helps families gain access to immunotherapy clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center—the last hope for many.

St. George’s Society has teamed up with Solving Kids’ Cancer to be a helping hand for families traveling from the UK to receive treatment. From meeting the families at the airport when they arrive to accompanying them to their first hospital consultation, we provide a much-needed support network while they are far from home during one of their most difficult life moments.

“St. George's Society was there as a port of call throughout our journey in NYC and made it feel more familiar.”
