Afternoon Tea with our Beneficiaries
On 1st June, Nord Anglia International School welcomed a group of our elderly beneficiaries to enjoy a spring afternoon of entertainment and refreshments.
Now in its second year, the Spring Tea and Talk provides the opportunity for the children to meet and interact with the beneficiaries in our community. During the afternoon, guests enjoyed talented musical performances by the students, including a reprise from the musical Annie, a pianist and a live guitar set.
This year we also introduced the interactive mural, which allowed guests to express themselves creatively through the medium of art. Students and beneficiaries of all ages added their signature piece to the mural - ranging from quotes and floral designs to native flags and cultural symbols.
We would like to thank all the children and teachers at the Nord Anglia International School who helped create such a successful event. Additionally, thank you for the generous donation from the Inez Branca Family Foundation, an ongoing supporter of our Beneficiary Program.
Since its establishment in 1770, St. George's Society has served thousands of people in need. Currently, we serve over 100 elderly beneficiaries, providing monthly stipends for elderly and disabled beneficiaries living in New York to remain safe and comfortable in their homes, avoiding homelessness.
