Through The Weatherstone Families Support Fund, we provide practical and logistical support to families of children affected by neuroblastoma who travel from the UK for life-saving treatment at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center.

From greeting families at the airport to accompanying them to their first hospital consultation, we provide a much-needed support network while they are far from home during one of their most difficult life moments. This initiative was developed in partnership with Solving Kids’ Cancer in the UK and is named after Lady Weatherstone in recognition of her generous founding contribution to launch the program.

Neuroblastoma is an extremely aggressive childhood cancer. A significant number of children never achieve remission and even for those tested clear of neuroblastoma, dangerous relapses are common. Although rare compared with other cancers, due to its low survival rate neuroblastoma is a significant cause of child death.
