Through our Family Support Program, we provide practical and logistical support to families of children visiting New York from the UK for clinical trials and treatment at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center.

St. George’s Society has teamed up with Solving Kids’ Cancer to be a helping hand for families traveling from the UK to receive treatment. From meeting the families at the airport when they arrive to accompanying them to their first hospital consultation, we provide a much-needed support network while they are far from home during one of their most difficult life moments.

“St. George's Society was there as a port of call throughout our journey in NYC and made it feel more familiar.”

Neuroblastoma is an extremely aggressive childhood cancer. A significant number of children never achieve remission and even for those tested clear of neuroblastoma, dangerous relapses are common. Although rare compared with other cancers, due to its low survival rate neuroblastoma is a significant cause of child death.
