The King's Birthday Picnic
Celebrate the King’s Birthday with St. George’s Society of New York!
Registration is now closed as we have reached the maximum capacity permitted by the venue.
Join us at our annual picnic in Central Park, for a fun-filled afternoon as we honor the King’s Birthday, a beloved tradition across the U.K.
Bring your family, friends, pets, and picnic essentials – we’ll provide the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable summer day.
Did you know? While King Charles III’s birthday is actually on November 14th, the King’s or Queen’s Birthday has historically been celebrated during the summer to account for better weather!
The entrance is on 59th and 7th Avenue. Follow the path and meet on the lawn next to the playground.
Please note this event is weather-dependent. Registrants will be notified of a cancellation via email.
We’re officially at capacity! Due to venue rules, we are now SOLD OUT. If you would like to join our waitlist please RSVP below.
Raffle prizes include two tickets to The Play That Goes Wrong, Broadway’s funniest smash hit! This Olivier Award-winning comedy is a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes. Welcome to opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), it’s “a riotous explosion of comedy!” (The Daily Beast) and “tons of fun for all ages!” (HuffPost). Ben Brantley of The New York Times calls The Play That Goes Wrong “a gut-busting hit,” and Cindy Adams of the New York Post has just one word for you: “Go!”

The Amicus Ball: A Night of Two Realms
In the heart of late autumn, the veil between our world and the supernatural has worn thin. Inspired by the celestial friction of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, we invite you to an evening where the rigid laws of the Mortal Court collide with the wild, unpredictable magic of the Fae.
King Oberon and Queen Titania are at odds, and their discord has pulled the lush spirit of midsummer into the crisp shadows of October. For one night only, the seasons have tangled, and the doors to La Victoria serve as the gateway to both.
We are thrilled to announce that, for the second consecutive year, St. George’s Society of New York is partnering with Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW) and the Society of Insurance Financial Management (SIFM) to bring this magical evening to life.
While the evening is strictly Black Tie, we ask that your attire reflects your chosen realm:
The Mortals: Honor the Court in traditional tuxedos, structured floor-length gowns, and sharp, symmetrical silhouettes.
The Fae: Channel the spirits of the wood in deep forest velvets, shimmering iridescent fabrics, botanical headpieces, or floral embroidery.
Ticket Prices
Member Ticket | $50
(Members of CAW, SIFM, and St. George’s Society of New York)
Non-Member Ticket | $60
Ticket includes entry and hors d'oeuvres. Please note this is a cash bar.

Whether you’re a British expat or simply keen to experience a slice of British culture here in New York, it’s the perfect excuse to gather, raise a glass, and celebrate in true UK style.
Please note: The venue is located on the second floor and is not wheelchair accessible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
This is an intimate space with a 100-person capacity. We kindly ask that if you register and can no longer attend, you let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate others on the wait list should we sell out.
