The English Ball is an annual gala held each spring to recognize distinguished members of the Anglo-American community and the charitable work of St. George’s Society.

Each year, members, corporate leaders and honored guests gather to enjoy an evening of dining, dancing and philanthropy. The English Ball serves as a primary source of funding for our Scholarship Program through the Fund-A-Scholar Auction that takes place during the evening.

First established in 1770 as a banquet to celebrate St. George, the patron saint of England, the English Ball has been held with rare exceptions every year on or near 23rd April, St. George’s Day.
