The UK's Department for International Trade and St. George's Society of New York invite you to nominate a candidate for the British Leadership Award.
The British Bash celebrates the best of British in NYC and will honor the achievements of an outstanding individual in the business community alongside the recipient of the Anglo-American Cultural Award.
Your nomination for the British Leadership Award should be accompanied by a brief statement on why you have chosen this person and how they meet the listed eligibility criteria. All nominees will be considered regardless of the size of the business or industry. Terms and conditions for the award can be found here.
All nominees must:
- Be a leader of a New York-based company promoting UK-US trade.
- Personify outstanding qualities and attainments in leadership.
- Have a proven track record displaying corporate social responsibility.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to innovation.
- Be available to attend the British Bash on Thursday 29 November 2018 in New York City.
- Be of British heritage.
- New York is primary place of residence.
Nominations due by Friday 7 September 2018, 11:59 pm EST.
Nominations and the winner will be judged by representatives from The UK's Department for International Trade and St. George's Society of New York.

About the British Bash
The British Bash is an annual event that celebrates the “Best of British in NYC” while raising vital funds for one of the oldest charities in New York. The event is attended by over 300 vibrant professionals, passionate about supporting a great cause, while having fun doing it. Members of St. George’s Society, corporate leaders and honored guests enjoy a cocktail reception, followed by an evening of live music, dining, dancing, a charity auction and recognition of the night’s honorees.
