Britain and America have a long history of private charity and St. George’s is one of the oldest British charities in New York, established in 1770. In 240 years it has distributed millions of dollars to thousands in need. Today the Society provides monthly stipends, emergency grants, and a professional social worker to dozens of beneficiaries.

Many St. George's Society Events are available for Sponsorship.

Corporate and Individual Sponsorships may include: logo on website, VIP invitations, customized recognition programs depending on sponsor needs, underwriting of events and publications such as the annual report, event merchandise, and recognition of gifts of $5,000 to $100,000.

Remembrance Day Luncheon Sponsor

St. George’s Society would like to thank BioDefense Corporation (www.bio-def.com) for sponsoring our recent Remembrance Day Luncheon to honor British and American War Veterans.  The luncheon benefiting St. George’s Society and British Army Benevolent Fund America (BABFA) took place at India House on Thursday 11 November 2010 after a Remembrance Day Observance Ceremony in The British Garden at Hanover Square.  The guest speaker was Brigadier T.J. Lai, Assistant Defense Attaché and Military Attaché to the British Embassy in Washington, DC.
