ST GEORGE'S SOCIETY OF NEW YORK

The St. George’s Society of New York is a private member-supported charitable organization founded in 1770.

Today the Society provides financial assistance to elderly or disabled individuals from the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.  With nearly 900 members, the Society provides an influential network to expatriates and anglophiles, hosting a variety of events.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester, KG, GCVO, is the Society’s Patron; and for over a century each serving British Consul-General in New York has been the Society’s Honorary President.
